3M Repositionable Tapes are double coated tapes that are ideal for applications where one or both parts need to be repositioned or removed easily.

 

3M Repositionable Tapes 665 and 666 have a medium tack adhesive on both sides of
the tape.
– Good adhesive anchorage to the film carrier provides one-piece tape removal from
many surfaces.
– Slight side-to-side adhesion differential, therefore specific side removal can be
accomplished if applied properly.
– The higher tack side of 3M tape 665 is on the face side (interior of roll).
– The higher tack side of 3M tape 666 is on the linered or back side (exterior of roll).
– The linerless feature of 3M tape 665 can help simplify manual or automatic dispensing.
No special liner removal equipment is required.
– The complete plastic construction of both tapes provides a hot wire cuttable feature for

8004 double-coated PET tape features a medium-firm acrylic pressure sensitive adhesive system. The key characteristics of this adhesive include a combination of high performance in adhesion and good shear holding power to a wide variety of materials, including many plastics. 8004 is specially designed for display market applications, such as optically management films attachment, foam, isolative film fixing, and system assembly.厚度只有 0.04mm

3M 4026 氨基鉀酸酯基材 雙面膠帶  Double Coated Urethane Foam Tapes

3M 4026  Double Coated Urethane Foam Tape, (1.6 mm) thick, are conformable foams that offer high shear strength and are available with either a high temperature holding acrylic adhesive system or a rubber adhesive system for bonding to various types of surfaces for mounting, joining and holding.

• The natural colored urethane foam tape products vary in color from white to light yellow. The color will change to light yellow upon exposure to sunlight (ultraviolet radiation). This color change is normal and does not affect tape performance.
• 3M Double Coated Urethane Foam Tape 4026 is available in roll form and diecut pieces. Die-cut pieces of 3M tape 4026 is available in 3/4" or 1" squares, either individual pieces double linered with an extended liner on one side or in pads of 48 squares.

• Bond strength is dependent upon the amount of adhesive-to-surface contact developed. Firm application pressure helps develop better adhesive contact and improve bond strength.
• To obtain optimum adhesion, the bonding surfaces must be clean, dry and well unified. Typical surface cleaning solvents are isopropyl alcohol* and water (rubbing alcohol) or heptane.
• Ideal tape application temperature range is 70°F to 100°F (21°C to 38°C). Initial tape application to surfaces at temperatures below 50°F (10°C) is not recommended because the adhesive becomes too firm to adhere readily. However, once properly applied, low temperature holding is generally satisfactory.

UV Resistance: No apparent degradation when exposed to 7 days in U.V. chamber.

3M 9448 is double coated pressure sensitive adhesive tape with a non woven carrier. High adhesion acrylic pressure sensitive adhesive has good bond strength on many types of substrate including low surface energy plastics. Has good initial tack at various temperatures. Soft acrylic adhesive can adhere to rough surfaces and shows good bonding. Paper liner is chosen to provide high suitability to converting processes such as die cutting.

3M 9485 PC with 3M Adhesive 350 are a modified acrylic adhesive ideal for very high-bond strength to many surfaces. Excellent chemical resistance and bold strength even at elevated temperatures. With a fiber reinforced adhesive which is important for roll stability in narrow widths.

Designed for temperature exposure to 450°F (232°C) for short periods of time and up to 300°F (149°C) over long time frames. A good choice for applications which require adhesion to Low Surface Energy plastics, powder coatings and oily metals.

-Humidity Resistance: High humidity has a minimal effect on adhesive performance. Bond strengths are generally higher after exposure for 7 days at 90°F (32°C) and 90% relative humidity.

-U.V. Resistance: When properly applied, nameplates and decorative trim parts are not adversely affected by outdoor exposure.

Water Resistance: Immersion in water has no appreciable effect on the bond strength. After 100 hours in room temperature water the bond actually shows an increase in strength.

Temperature Cycling Resistance: Bond strength generally increases after cycling four times through: 4 hours at 158°F (70°C)   4 hours at -20°F (-29°C)   16 hours at room temperature

Chemical Resistance: When properly applied, nameplate and decorate trim parts will hold securely after exposure to numerous chemicals including gasoline, oil, Freon TF, sodium chloride solution, mild acids and alkalis.

Heat Resistance: The Adhesive 350 is usable for short periods (minutes, hours) at temperatures up to 350°F (177°C) and for intermittent longer periods (days, weeks) up to 250°F (121°C).

Low Temperature Service: -40°F (-40°C). Parts should be tested for low temperature shock service.

Shelf Life: two year

9495 film tapes feature a thin polyester film for dimensional stability and improved handling with ease of die cutting and laminating. Tapes 9495B and 9690B have a black polyester film to provide opacity or visibility. The #200MP “Hi-Performance” acrylic adhesive on Tapes 9495MP and 9495B provides exceptional temperature and chemical resistance while the #300MP “Hi-Strength” acrylic adhesive on Tapes 9690 and 9690B offers excellent adhesion to many plastics and good shear strength.

3M Adhesive Transfer Tapes with 3M Adhesive 200 are the industry choice for metal nameplates for the industrial or electronic applications because of excellent quality, consistency and durability. In addition, as a result of 3M’s innovative, proprietary process, Adhesive 200 also offers the following performance characteristics:
• Excellent high temperature performance as well as excellent shear strength (that minimizes edge lifting and slippage of parts).
• Excellent resistance to harsh environments; this adhesive can withstand splashes of organic solvents, weak acids and bases and salt water. In addition, it performs well after exposures to humidity and hot/cold cycles.
• Outstanding peel adhesion values are outstanding on metals and HSE plastics. Peel adhesion increases with increased adhesive thickness.
