3M Repositionable Tapes are double coated tapes that are ideal for applications where one or both parts need to be repositioned or removed easily.

 

3M Repositionable Tapes 665 and 666 have a medium tack adhesive on both sides of
the tape.
– Good adhesive anchorage to the film carrier provides one-piece tape removal from
many surfaces.
– Slight side-to-side adhesion differential, therefore specific side removal can be
accomplished if applied properly.
– The higher tack side of 3M tape 665 is on the face side (interior of roll).
– The higher tack side of 3M tape 666 is on the linered or back side (exterior of roll).
– The linerless feature of 3M tape 665 can help simplify manual or automatic dispensing.
No special liner removal equipment is required.

膠帶使用操作程序
貼合表現與有效貼合面積息息相關, 堅實之感壓程序可明顯增加膠帶之貼合表現. 以下系3M建議之標準膠帶使用操作程序:
(a) 欲達最佳黏著,黏著表面必需清潔與乾燥. 一般建議以布沾取1:1 比例之IPA (Isopropyl Alcohol, 異丙醇) 與水的混合溶液進行表面擦拭清潔後, 待表面完全乾燥. (注意:使用IPA前, 請先參照此溶劑之建議注意事項)。 (b) 在清潔溶劑乾燥後, 將膠帶貼合於黏著表面, 以滾筒或其他方式 (刮板) 平均施以約 15psi (1.05公斤/cm2) 之壓力, 使其有效貼合. (c) 將膠帶離型紙撕除, 然後將欲貼著之材質貼上, 同樣施以15psi 之壓力, 使其有效貼合, 若欲去除氣泡, 建議加大壓力, 以物品所承受之限度為上限. (d) 建議理想的施工溫度介於15℃至38℃之間, 勿低於10℃.(e) 欲使膠帶保存至使用時仍具有穩定的品質, 建議之儲存環境為21℃和50%相對濕度. (f) 黏貼膠帶時,宜以一端先貼合後,再緩壓至另一端,以減低氣泡產生之機率。

3M 4026  Double Coated Urethane Foam Tape, (1.6 mm) thick, are conformable foams that offer high shear strength and are available with either a high temperature holding acrylic adhesive system or a rubber adhesive system for bonding to various types of surfaces for mounting, joining and holding.

• The natural colored urethane foam tape products vary in color from white to light yellow. The color will change to light yellow upon exposure to sunlight (ultraviolet radiation). This color change is normal and does not affect tape performance.
• 3M Double Coated Urethane Foam Tape 4026 is available in roll form and diecut pieces. Die-cut pieces of 3M tape 4026 is available in 3/4" or 1" squares, either individual pieces double linered with an extended liner on one side or in pads of 48 squares.

• Bond strength is dependent upon the amount of adhesive-to-surface contact developed. Firm application pressure helps develop better adhesive contact and improve bond strength.
• To obtain optimum adhesion, the bonding surfaces must be clean, dry and well unified. Typical surface cleaning solvents are isopropyl alcohol* and water (rubbing alcohol) or heptane.
• Ideal tape application temperature range is 70°F to 100°F (21°C to 38°C). Initial tape application to surfaces at temperatures below 50°F (10°C) is not recommended because the adhesive becomes too firm to adhere readily. However, once properly applied, low temperature holding is generally satisfactory.

UV Resistance: No apparent degradation when exposed to 7 days in U.V. chamber.

3M 9731-100為0.1mm厚雙面膠帶,一面為矽膠( 透明PET膜),另一面是壓克力膠(PE塗佈牛皮紙離型紙)。

使用雙面離型, 雙面離型一面為4 mil PET和一面為5 mil PE塗佈牛皮紙,具耐高溫,中度抗溶劑、適用高至低表面能貼合。

3M 9485 PC with 3M Adhesive 350 are a modified acrylic adhesive ideal for very high-bond strength to many surfaces. Excellent chemical resistance and bold strength even at elevated temperatures. With a fiber reinforced adhesive which is important for roll stability in narrow widths.

Designed for temperature exposure to 450°F (232°C) for short periods of time and up to 300°F (149°C) over long time frames. A good choice for applications which require adhesion to Low Surface Energy plastics, powder coatings and oily metals.

-Humidity Resistance: High humidity has a minimal effect on adhesive performance. Bond strengths are generally higher after exposure for 7 days at 90°F (32°C) and 90% relative humidity.

-U.V. Resistance: When properly applied, nameplates and decorative trim parts are not adversely affected by outdoor exposure.

Water Resistance: Immersion in water has no appreciable effect on the bond strength. After 100 hours in room temperature water the bond actually shows an increase in strength.

Temperature Cycling Resistance: Bond strength generally increases after cycling four times through: 4 hours at 158°F (70°C)   4 hours at -20°F (-29°C)   16 hours at room temperature

Chemical Resistance: When properly applied, nameplate and decorate trim parts will hold securely after exposure to numerous chemicals including gasoline, oil, Freon TF, sodium chloride solution, mild acids and alkalis.

Heat Resistance: The Adhesive 350 is usable for short periods (minutes, hours) at temperatures up to 350°F (177°C) and for intermittent longer periods (days, weeks) up to 250°F (121°C).

Low Temperature Service: -40°F (-40°C). Parts should be tested for low temperature shock service.

膠帶使用操作程序
貼合表現與有效貼合面積息息相關, 堅實之感壓程序可明顯增加膠帶之貼合表現. 以下系3M建議之標準膠帶使用操作程序:
(a) 欲達最佳黏著,黏著表面必需清潔與乾燥. 一般建議以布沾取1:1 比例之IPA (Isopropyl Alcohol, 異丙醇) 與水的混合溶液進行表面擦拭清潔後, 待表面完全乾燥. (注意:使用IPA前, 請先參照此溶劑之建議注意事項)。 (b) 在清潔溶劑乾燥後, 將膠帶貼合於黏著表面, 以滾筒或其他方式 (刮板) 平均施以約 15psi (1.05公斤/cm2) 之壓力, 使其有效貼合. (c) 將膠帶離型紙撕除, 然後將欲貼著之材質貼上, 同樣施以15psi 之壓力, 使其有效貼合, 若欲去除氣泡, 建議加大壓力, 以物品所承受之限度為上限. (d) 建議理想的施工溫度介於15℃至38℃之間, 勿低於10℃.(e) 欲使膠帶保存至使用時仍具有穩定的品質, 建議之儲存環境為21℃和50%相對濕度. (f) 黏貼膠帶時,宜以一端先貼合後,再緩壓至另一端,以減低氣泡產生之機率。
