Precautions:
・Do not use the sensor cable for purposes other than water leak detection.

・Do not use S-1F sensor cable on pipes. ・Use sensor cable S-1FP for the the pipes.
・Avoid installing in a location subject to heavy condensation.
・Please keep the sensor cable length within 100m.

・ Please control the length including the sensor cable within 150m when using jumper wires to connect the detector and the sensor cable.
・Use shielded jumper wire where external electromagnetic induction may occur.
・This sensor cable is designed based on the characteristics of 3M leak detectors. When using in combination with a leak detector manufactured by other companies, be sure to confirm with the manufacturer of the leak detector and check the operation after installing the sensor cable.
・The exposed surface of concrete absorbs moisture. When the amount of water leakage is less than the amount of absorption, it is impossible to detect the leakage and the waterproofing treatment is recommended.
・Installation of the sensor cable by using SS-6 stickers to secure the sensor cable at intervals of 20-40cm so that it is stay to the ground.
・When attaching the sticker SS-6, try to avoid the opening ( electrodes ) of the sensor cable.
・After installation, make sure that the sensor cable stay on the floor.
・When using self-adhesive adhesives, use synthetic rubber or synthetic resin adhesives. Also, do not use vinyl acetate adhesive (adhesive for concrete, etc.). Vinyl acetate adhesives are hygroscopic and may cause false alarms.
