3M Filament Reinforced Electrical Tape 46 is a 7 mil glass filament-reinforced polyester film backing  with a thermosetting, pressure-sensitive rubber adhesive system. It offers good tensile strength and edge-tear resistance for use in end-turn taping.

High tensile strength / High dielectric strength / UL recognized Class B (130°C)

The polyester film/glass backing has excellent physical and electrical characteristics. 46 tape is especially suited for such applications as lead anchoring and banding of coils where high edge-tear resistance and low stretch under application tension are needed.

3M 1146 Tape is a 6.5 mil polyester film/glass filament tape coated with a thermosetting, pressure-sensitive rubber adhesive.

3M Filament Reinforced Electrical Tape 1276 is a 9 mil glass filament-reinforced paper backing with high-shear strength acrylic adhesive. Solvent-resistant, it offers good tensile strength for holding in oil-transformer applications.

3M Electrical Tape 1276 is made of an electrical-grade paper backing, reinforced with parallel glass filaments and an oil-compatible acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive.
Unlike conventional film-backed tapes, this products' paper backing construction provides for complete impregnation and saturation of the tape in adjacent layers of insulation. This feature minimizes the possibility of voids leading to corona discharges, with subsequent deterioration of insulation materials. Polyester film used in making traditionally designed filament tapes does not absorb transformer oil. The unique coating on the back side of 1276 tape promotes exceptional bonding of the diamond paper insulation epoxy during the transformer baking process.

3M Electrical Tape 1339 is a polyester film/glass filament tape coated with a pressure-sensitive acrylic adhesive system. The polyester film/glass backing has excellent physical and electrical characteristics. The back side of the tape has a special coating which allows for an even, controlled unwind. It also promotes permanent anchoring in application. Typical applications for 1339 include lead anchoring, banding of coils, lead tape anchoring and other uses where tensile strength is needed.
